Dr. Guillermo Betancourt, DDS
Welcome to Countryside Dental! My name is Guillermo Betancourt, and I am passionate about providing personalized, high-quality dental care to patients of all ages. I bring over a decade of experience in general dentistry, with expertise in advanced endodontics, oral surgery, and sleep medicine.

I earned my first dental degree- Doctor in Stomatology from the Medical Science University of Matanzas, Cuba, in 2014, followed by a medical mission in Venezuela, where I delivered essential dental services to remote communities in the Andes Mountains. After moving to the United States in 2016, I pursued additional training and earned my second dental degree - Doctor of Dental Surgery from UT Health San Antonio, graduating with Distinction in Dental Education in 2023. Since then, I have proudly provided dental services to underserved rural communities of South Texas through my work in Public Health with South Texas Rural Health Services Inc., a role I continue to fulfill with dedication on Fridays.

At Countryside Dental, I strive to make every patient feel cared for and understood. I combine modern techniques with compassionate care to achieve optimal oral health.

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to church, exploring the latest advancements in science and technology, and continually enhancing my skills to better serve the community.
